In just 17 days, I will be leaving my humble home and get on a series of planes. I will lift off from Cincinnati to land in Chattanooga, Tn for Pre-Field Orientation and training. I will leave the United States for two months on June 7th.
I will be in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala with 13 other girls. -I will say right now that spending my summer with 14 girls will be a stretch for me.
Here's a description of the ministry we will be doing:
Your team will have several ministry options available to you. You can be doing anything from painting to preaching and dramas in schools and churches. You will have opportunities to work with street kids and in the orphanage. There are opportunities to bring food and clothing to those living in the dumps or in the mountains.
